Monti Carlo (Monaco)

Date: Dec 05

General: Wow! this is the playground of the rich and famous, from the fast ferraris, to the luxury Yachts.
Stayed at the Le meridian - grt hotel with its own private beach.

Was 17 degrees in Dec so was still warm.

Transport: You have to get a cab from most places, best keep the nbr of one of the taxi firms as can be difficult late at night to get one off the streets

entertainment: There are only a few cool places, dont forget this place is still small.
Went to Sass cafe, Resturant & small bar, good place to start for drinks - u do need to book for a table, they have a very cheesy live band, but great atmosphere..!!

Opposite is a few more bars and club Klementine.. Nice and loud place, but full of the 20's something hard core party people!

Best place to go onto it Jimmiz's, full of the rich and beautiful!!! But very expensive(u have been Warned)

Transport:

We got a five day pass which we bought at the metro station at cdg for 45euros.this allowed us unlimited access on the metro, trains and buses for all zones (handy if your going to euro disney). worked out great value and meant it was very easy to get around all the sights

Transport:

When you arrive into Paris, get the bus over to the train station and purchase a day ticket (presuming you are only there for the day!). It costs EUR16.75 and is valid on all metro, bus, coach and RER train services. They are fab to have and you can use it to the max as is valid for 24 hours. It saves so much money if you are going from one place to another and saves having to keep buying individual tickets

Montparnasse is a kicking place, during the day its got grt outdoor bars, and cafes which is ideal for people watching or just chilling before the evening.

At night it’s a riot of colours and atmosphere, you just have to walk around going into different bars, Found the locals weren’t to keen once they found out we were from the UK, so we said we were from India and that worked btr for us!

Try Amnesia, but get thr early as the ques get long later.
