DJ's Queen T and Lady Ice, or the Mixtresses as they are collectively known, have risen to the higher ranks of London's upmarket nightlife scene in an incredibly short period, having only embarked on DJing in 2003. Already, the sisters have rocked parties at spots like China Whites, Club No 3, Propaganda (Trap), 10 Rooms, Click and Opium to name a few. Known for adding a touch of visual glamour to their audio blend of R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop and Bashment, the female duo have built part of their reputations on resurrecting the steaming selection of slow jams for that seductive end-of-night experience.
The rest of their reputation? Their ability to please a crowd! The Mixtresses are fast becoming known as the best selectors in London, and are being acclaimed both nationally and internationally for their ability to excite any crowd. They pride themselves on their ability to entertain a crowd whilst providing incomparable tune selection.
Their professionalism, talent, beauty and energy have resulted in a number of London residencies and regular slots alongside established DJ's & performers, including Tim Westwood, Trevor Nelson, Lonyo, Hanif, DJ Asha and Simon 'schoolboy' Philips.
With many offers from Radio, TV and Fashion labels there seems to be no end to Lady Ice and Queen T's diversity and appeal.
